TJ Nelson is a classically trained actor based in New York City
Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina TJ started playing piano and singing in church choir at 5 years old. From there, his love for music grew, and he also learned to play guitar, drums, and bass. At 17, he was presented with a scholarship to attend the Vocal Performance program as a High school Jr. at UNCSA. While attending school, he discovered a new love: acting. With his new found passion, he received a scholarship to UNCSA's High school Sr. Drama program, the same university where he later received his BFA. From there, he signed with his agents, and has worked in every medium. From the stage, to on camera, to voiceover, to cruise lines, TJ is a fearless, swiss army knife performer who can do anything he sets his mind to. Some credits include Gaston (Beauty and the Beast), Cheetor (Transformers: Cyberverse), AIDA Cruiselines, Draftkings, NYU Langone, Johnsonville Brats
Along with his career in the arts, TJ has also found a love for the world of finance. He has spent the last several years learning fundamental/technical analysis, along with being mentored by Bob Lang, co-author of Know your Options and founder of Explosive Options. TJ believes that the paths of the arts and finance are ones that are parallel, and has a passion for empowering artists by learning the ways of financial markets.
